Amy holds a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S.Ed. in Secondary English Instruction from Northwestern University.
With more than 25 years of experience as a veteran English educator, Department Chair, and dual-enrollment instructor, she is passionate about helping students build the skills, scores, and confidence they need to thrive in competitive academic environments.
Her work blends rigorous literacy instruction with strategic ACT preparation. For more than two decades, she has taught ACT English and Reading, developed targeted grammar and speed-reading curriculum, and guided hundreds of students through the college essay process—from brainstorming to final submission.

Roxanne has a distinguished background in education spanning more than 25 years. She taught high school English for over two decades and served seven years as an instructor at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Roxanne has also tutored students on the ACT for over five years, helping them grow in both skill and confidence. A dedicated advocate for reading and writing, she brings a deep appreciation for language and learning to her work.

Outside of teaching, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her three sons—two recent college graduates and one currently attending college in Iowa.
